Ozarks Local News reported that a seven-year-old boy remains at St. Louis Children’s Hospital with a Missouri brain injury from two months ago when a car crashed through his family’s house, killing one cousin and seriously injuring another.
The cousin of the Missouri brain injury victim still hasn’t fully recovered from the St. Louis auto accident. Scars now line his face, and he sometimes slurs his speech.
The community has reached out to the family and provided generous support. The family has received a video game system to replace the one destroyed by the Missouri car accident, and a check for about $1,000 from workers at the American Steel Foundries plant in Granite City, Ill.
